Alcoholic beverage control; exemption from licensure person who manufactures spirits at residence.

Alcoholic beverage control; exemptions fromlicensure; manufacture of spirits at personal residence for domesticconsumption. Exempts from the licensure requirements of the AlcoholicBeverage Control Act any person who, after being granted a permitby the Board of Directors of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage ControlAuthority to keep, store, or possess any still or distilling apparatusfor the purpose of distilling alcohol, manufactures at his residence for domestic consumption spirits in an amount not to exceed (i) 100gallons per year if there are two or more persons 21 years of ageor older residing in the residence or (ii) 50 gallons per year ifthere is only one person 21 years of age or older residing in theresidence.

Special lifetime hunting and fishing license;military veterans. Allows any resident of the Commonwealth whois a veteran of the United States Armed Forces or the National Guardand Reserve who applies for the resident lifetime hunting licenseor the resident lifetime fishing license to receive such license.The cost for such license is set for one of the following fees basedon age: age 50 or younger, $200; age 51 through 55, $150; age 56through 60, $100; age 61 through 64, $50; and age 65 or older, $10.

Allowsa law-enforcement agency to publish the required notice that therewill be a public display and sale of certain unclaimed personal propertythat has been in the possession of such law-enforcement agency andremained unclaimed for more than 60 days on the law-enforcement agency'sofficial website or any related social media platforms once a weekfor two successive weeks. Under current law, such notice may onlybe published in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality.
