Disposal of unclaimed property in possessionof sheriff or police; notice of public display and sale. Allowsa law-enforcement agency to publish the required notice that therewill be a public display and sale of certain unclaimed personal propertythat has been in the possession of such law-enforcement agency andremained unclaimed for more than 60 days on the law-enforcement agency'sofficial website or any related social media platforms once a weekfor two successive weeks. Under current law, such notice may onlybe published in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality.
