Job Protection Act

Job Protection Act This bill reduces from 12 months to 90 days the employment period required for employees (including federal employees) to become eligible for family and medical leave. Additionally, the bill makes the family and medical leave requirements applicable to all employers (currently, the requirements apply to employers with 50 or more employees).

Teacher Debt Relief Act

Teacher Debt Relief Act This bill allows an eligible teacher to use the same teaching service to qualify for both the Teacher Loan Forgiveness program and the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.

To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to exclude information relating to certain evictions from consumer reports, and for other purposes.

This bill prohibits from inclusion in a consumer credit report information related to an eviction occurring during the COVID-19 national emergency or occurring in the 30 days after the termination of such emergency.

SALT Act

Supporting Americans with Lower Taxes Act or the SALT Act This bill modifies the limitation on the tax deduction for certain state, local, and foreign real and personal property taxes. Specifically, the bill denies a tax deduction for foreign real property taxes to any individual taxpayer with an adjusted gross income that equals or exceeds $400,000. It also limits the deduction for the aggregate amount of other state and local taxes and sales taxes for such taxpayers to $60,000 in a taxable year. The bill transfers revenues from this bill to a Medicare Vision and Hearing Trust Fund to provide vision and hearing benefits under the Medicare program.

Women's Health Protection Act of 2021

Women's Health Protection Act of 2021 This bill prohibits governmental restrictions on the provision of, and access to, abortion services. Specifically, governments may not limit a provider's ability to prescribe certain drugs, offer abortion services via telemedicine, or immediately provide abortion services when the provider determines a delay risks the patient's health. Furthermore, governments may not require a provider to perform unnecessary medical procedures, provide medically inaccurate information, comply with credentialing or other conditions that do not apply to providers whose services are medically comparable to abortions, or carry out all services connected to an abortion. In addition, governments may not (1) require patients to make medically unnecessary in-person visits before receiving abortion services or disclose their reasons for obtaining such services, or (2) prohibit abortion services before fetal viability or after fetal viability when a provider determines the pregnancy risks the patient's life or health. The bill also prohibits other governmental measures that are similar to the bill's specified restrictions or that otherwise single out and impede access to abortion services, unless a government demonstrates that the measure significantly advances the safety of abortion services or health of patients and cannot be achieved through less restrictive means. The Department of Justice, individuals, or providers may bring a lawsuit to enforce this bill, and states are not immune from suits for violations. The bill applies to restrictions imposed both prior and subsequent to the bill's enactment.

ACTION for National Service Act

America's Call To Improve Opportunities Now for National Service Act or the ACTION for National Service Act This bill (1) converts the Corporation for National and Community Service into the AmeriCorps Administration and revises its membership, leadership, and authority; (2) reauthorizes programs carried out by the administration; (3) establishes a National Service Foundation to accept and administer gifts on behalf of the administration; (4) modifies the calculation of national service educational awards; and (5) otherwise modifies provisions related to national and volunteer service programs. Additionally, the bill creates an interagency Civilian Climate Corps, operated by the administration, to conduct service projects addressing climate change.

Recognizing the roles and contributions of United States service animals and their valiant human handlers for bravery in both war and peace, and acknowledging the importance of creating a process for honoring their valor and meritorious achievements.

This resolution recognizes and thanks service animals and their handlers who serve the United States in times of war and peace and supports the creation of an annual process to nominate animals for the Medal of Bravery and Distinguished Service Medal.

Directing the Joint Committee on the Library to revise the statue commemorating women's suffrage which is located in the rotunda of the United States Capitol, commonly known as the "Portrait Monument", by placing on the statue an inscription which is based on the original inscription which was on the statue when the statue was delivered to the United States Capitol in 1921, and for other purposes.

This concurrent resolution directs the Joint Committee on the Library to modify the statue, known as the Portrait Monument, commemorating women's suffrage and located in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol by placing an inscription on it that is based on its original inscription from when it was delivered to the U.S. Capitol on February 10, 1921. The concurrent resolution also authorizes the use of the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol for a ceremony to unveil the revised Portrait Monument.
