Directs State Board of Forestry to convey certain state forest lands to county that determines that county would secure greatest permanent value of lands to county and requests conveyance.
Requires state agencies that acquire public property to comply with local ordinances mandating notice to or consultation with local government or mandating compliance with conditions of local government.
Directs state agencies to distribute moneys to local entities for specified bridge projects. Authorizes general obligation bonding for bridge projects. ] Expresses commitment of Legislative Assembly to support specified bridge projects through investments of specified amounts. Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2023.
Expands crime of assault in the third degree to include causing physical injury to utility worker while worker is performing official duties. Punishes by maximum of five years' imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both.
Prohibits state from paying costs of travel to or from Oregon for employee in state service who telecommutes from principal worksite more than 60 miles outside this state , unless collective bargaining agreement provides otherwise or essential requirements of position make it necessary for employee to telecommute from outside this state .
Removes prohibition against sale, offer for sale, maintenance or control of female cattle of beef breed that have not been vaccinated against brucellosis.
Authorizes board of directors of rural fire protection district to annex to district, under certain circumstances, lands that are within coverage area of district. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Provides that year in which Governor declares that drought exists, or is likely to exist, within county does not count toward period of time for forfeiture of water right for nonuse for owner ] holder of water right within county. Removes reference to repealed federal law.
Provides licensing exemption for person slaughtering not more than 1,000 rabbits for use as human food.
Dissolves Oregon Alfalfa Seed Commission. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
