Relates to commissaries and canteens at correctional institutions; provides that items for sale at a commissary or canteen shall be sold for market value; provides that money placed into an incarcerated individual's commissary or canteen account or fund shall only be used for purchasing items or goods.
Increases the jurisdictional limit from $3,000 to $5,000 for justice courts; increases filing fees.
Provides that restaurants may provide single-use plastic straws to customers when explicitly requested by the customer; prohibits single-use plastic stirrers.
Adds certain substances already listed under 21 U.S.C. Section 812 to the schedules of controlled substances.
Permits telehealth delivery of services by physical therapy and occupational therapy assistants, chiropractors and mental health practitioners.
Relates to the regulation of street vendors in cities with a population of one million or more by authorizing such cities to adopt a program to regulate street vendors; requires street vendors to obtain a permit; provides for penalties for failure to comply with such regulations.
Provides that prescription drugs eligible for reimbursement shall be provided and paid for under the preferred drug program and the clinical drug review program; restores pharmacy benefits under Medicaid managed care.
Extends the coverage period for medical assistance to a period of one year beginning on the last day of pregnancy.
Provides that any provider that is owned and operated by a municipality, or is owned and operated by a domestic corporation as such term is defined in subparagraph five of paragraph (a) of section 102 of the not-for-profit corporation law and possessing a federal tax exemption designated as 501(c)(3) under the federal internal revenue code shall not be subject to a fee for such use or occupancy, and the development authority of the north country, as defined by title twenty-nine of article eight of the public authorities law, shall not be subject to a fee for such use or occupancy.
Relates to establishing the housing access voucher program; provides that the commissioner of the division of housing and community renewal shall implement a program of rental assistance in the form of housing vouchers for eligible individuals and families who are homeless or who face an imminent loss of housing; provides that the commissioner shall designate public housing access voucher local administrators in the state to administer the program.
