Authorizes ballot by mail by removing cause for absentee ballot voting.
Extends paid family leave benefits to employees who perform construction, demolition, reconstruction, excavation, rehabilitation, repairs, renovations, alterations, or improvements for multiple employers pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement who shall be eligible for family leave benefits if they were employed for at least twenty-six of the last thirty-nine weeks by any covered employer which is signatory to a collective bargaining agreement.
Establishes a maternal mortality review board for the purpose of reviewing maternal deaths and severe maternal morbidity; the board shall review factors leading to death and preventability and develop strategies for reducing the risk of maternal mortality.
Establishes a telephone reassurance program for senior citizens which provides automated telephone calls at regular intervals at their place of residence, and if no answer, law enforcement is dispatched.
Requires each industrial development agency to live stream all meetings relating to agreements for a payment in lieu of taxes and to record such meetings and make the recordings available on the webpage of the industrial development agency or the local municipality.
Relates to requiring building condition surveys to be conducted on public school buildings constructed prior to 1950 every other year and a visual inspection in alternate years.
Relates to the "Heather D. Heyer act" which increases penalties where a vehicle is used as a weapon in a hate crime and makes it illegal to travel upon a roadway in a vehicle within 1000 feet of a protest.
Authorizes the department of motor vehicles to issue standard drivers' licenses and restricts what information can be retained and given out on those applying or holding standard drivers' licenses.
