Establishes a temporary fetal alcohol spectrum disorders task force within the Department of Health for administrative purposes. Requires a report to the Legislature. Increases the minimum wage for certain employees incrementally to $12.00 per hour beginning 10/1/2022, $15.00 per hour beginning 1/1/2024, and $18.00 per hour beginning 1/1/26.
Requires the court to appoint counsel to indigent parents upon the filing of a petition for custody or family supervision and make every effort to do so at the first hearing attended by the parents. (SD1)
Authorizes advanced practice registered nurses, in addition to physicians, to practice medical-aid-in-dying in accordance with their scope of practice and prescribing authority. Authorizes licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and marriage and family therapists, in addition to psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers, to provide counseling to a qualified patient. Strengthens nondisclosure protections. Reduces the mandatory waiting period between oral requests from twenty days to fifteen days. Waives the mandatory waiting period for those terminally ill individuals not expected to survive the mandatory waiting period. Effective 1/1/2050. (SD2)
