Adds members of the clergy, commercial computer technicians, commercial film and photographic print or image processors, and persons employed by organizations that have direct contact with or supervision of children to the categories of persons who are required to report child abuse and neglect to the Department of Human Services or to police. Provides a "safe harbor" through December 31, 2020, for reporting by clergy of known or suspected child abuse that was previously unreported and that did not arise during a penitential communication. Provides purchasers of time shares with rescission rights if there is a material change to the information contained in the disclosure statement. Requires developers to provide notice to the purchaser regarding any pertinent or material change made to the disclosure statement. (SD2)
Prohibits a person from advertising or conducting a live musical performance through the use of deceptive affiliation under certain conditions. Enables action against deceptive practices by imposing penalties and private right of action. (SD1)
Amends the information required to be in a time share disclosure statement, under certain circumstances. Amends the information required to be on a developer registration renewal application. Expands the information developers are not required to include on a developer registration renewal application. Limits the copies of documents developers are required to submit in a developer registration renewal application. Requires developers to submit copies of supplementary plan documents of the time share plan. Allows for submission of certain document in electronic form. (SD1)
Requires the executive office on aging to convene a working group to update the state plan on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias by identifying the best practices and standards of dementia training in care facilities. Requires report to the legislature. (SD2)
Establishes billing requirements for unanticipated medical billing and unanticipated coverage gaps of patients for out-of-network emergency services received from non-participating providers. Requires the Insurance Commissioner to refer certain disputes between insurers and non-participating providers to an independent dispute resolution entity for binding arbitration. Effective 1/1/2021.
