RELATING TO VISITOR IMPACTS.

Requires that a percentage of the Hawaii tourism authority's budget be transferred to the department of land and natural resources and the counties if the number of visitor arrivals in the State exceeds nine million, or if the number of visitor arrivals in any county exceeds 6.5 million. Requires the Hawaii tourism authority to submit an action report to the legislature. (SD1)

RELATING TO FAMILY COURT.

Requires certain persons to immediately report a potential tort claim to the family court when that person has reason to believe that a child in foster custody has suffered an injury that may arise to a tort claim. Establishes procedures for the family court to follow when appointing a master to investigate a potential tort claim and when authorizing the filing of a tort claim on behalf of an injured child, including the opportunity for an injured child to obtain outside legal representation. Takes effect on 1/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO RECORDS MANAGEMENT.

Establishes a medical aid in dying act that establishes a regulatory process under which an adult resident of the State with a medically confirmed terminal disease may obtain a prescription for medication to be self-administered to end the patient's life. (SD2)
