Requires the State Council on Mental Health to include an unspecified number of members with demonstrated knowledge of or work experience involving native Hawaiian concepts of well-being, culturally grounded mental health methodologies, or traditional healing or health practices. Requires a vulnerable coastal property purchaser statement to be executed by the purchaser or transferee with the sale or transfer of vulnerable coastal real estate. Effective 12/31/33. (SD1)
Provides a limited exemption from state licensure requirements to out-of-state physicians who accompany a sports team to a specific sporting event in Hawaii or are invited to provide services at a national sport training center, event, or competition in Hawaii, if certain conditions are met. Requires out-of-state physicians to provide notice to the Hawaii medical board.
Requires the Executive Office on Aging to assess progress toward the policy goals identified by the Long Term Care Commission and to formulate recommendations on how the State can meet these goals. Requires a report to the Legislature. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)
Clarifies the meaning of "program or activity receiving state financial assistance". Excludes cases within the scope of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act from the jurisdiction of the Hawaii civil rights commission.
Repeals the requirement that noncarbonated bottled water be transported, stored, processed, or bottled through lines or equipment through which only water is passed.
Requires drug manufacturers to notify the insurance commissioner, prescription drug benefit plans, and pharmacy benefit managers if a proposed increase in the wholesale price of certain drugs would result in a per cent or more price increase over a twoyear period. Requires the drug manufacturer to identify and report to the insurance commissioner information on certain drugs whose wholesale acquisition cost increases by a certain amount during a specified time frame. Requires the insurance commissioner to post price information on the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affair's website. Imposes fines. Effective 1/1/2050. (SD1)
