Clarifies that the transient accommodations tax shall be calculated based on the gross rental. Specifies that the transient accommodations tax is to be collected from operators or transient accommodations intermediaries that collect whole or partial payment for transient accommodations. Requires prescription drug coverage provided under the State's medicaid managed care and fee-for-service programs to include prescription drug coverage for buprenorphine, when used in the treatment of opioid dependency. Requires prescriptions for buprenorphine to be offered without copayments and without the need for prior authorization.
Allows licensed producers of motor vehicle insurers to satisfy the requirement that insurers provide a complete sales and claims office in the State by instead allowing the licensed producer to establish and maintain a sales and claims office.
Requires the owners of buildings open to the public to provide shelter to visiting members of the public in cases of emergency or disaster. Requires the owners of buildings open to the public to inform the appropriate county emergency management agency of the designated shelter area. Provides immunity from civil liability for owners of buildings open to the public to provide shelter to visiting members of the public in cases of emergency or disaster.
