Affixes a seal of career technical education to a student's high school diploma and transcript upon completion of a career technical education program approved by the Department of Education.
Prohibits the eviction of any tenant of Kawaihapai Airfield from being evicted from the airfield until the expiration of the department of transportation and the U.S. Department of the Army's lease, so long as the tenant remains in good standing. Requires the department of transportation to cooperate with any private entity performing an economic feasibility study of Kawaihapai Airfield.
Requires public schools, private schools, and public charter schools to have an employee trained to administer seizure disorder rescue medication. Exempts schools that do not have a student with a seizure disorder. Requires a seizure action plan for every diagnosed student and distribution of the plan to employees charged with supervising the student. Requires all principals, guidance counselors, and teachers to perform selfreview of seizure disorder materials annually.
Requires the department of education to establish and administer a career and technology program that will provide aviation and aviation mechanics education and training to high school students.
Repeals election days as designated state holidays. Provides up to 8 hours of paid leave on even-numbered years for public employees whose contract terms extend beyond 6/30/2022, and include election days as paid holidays.
