RELATING TO COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS.

Makes it a criminal violation for a person to: (1) provide false information regarding COVID-19 vaccination status to certain entities; (2) use falsified verification of COVID-19 vaccination status; (3) manufacture, distribute, disseminate, issue, sell, offer for sale, import, or offer to import into this State falsified verification of COVID-19 vaccination status or a blank or incomplete COVID-19 vaccination status verification document or code. Effective 7/1/2050. Repeals on 6/30/2023. (HD2)

RELATING TO HIGHWAYS.

Sets weight limitations for tour operators and rental vehicles on Hana and Haleakala highways. Establishes user fees to access Hana and Haleakala highways for certain vehicles. Amends the highway development special fund to allow the deposit funds received from the user fees into the special fund and authorizes the fund to be used for the development and improvement of Hana and Haleakala highways. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD2)

RELATING TO THE LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLD RENTERS TAX CREDIT.

Increases the credit amount and the income eligibility cap thresholds for the income tax credit for low-income household renters by using tax brackets. Provides for inflation increases every three years based on the urban Hawaii consumer price index beginning with taxable years beginning after 12/31/2023. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)

RELATING TO SENSORY ROOMS.

Requires the department of education to construct and implement sensory rooms for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in all public schools. Appropriates funds for the planning, design, and construction of the sensory rooms. Appropriates funds for special education teachers to staff the sensory rooms.
