RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH LICENSING.

Requires psychologists licensed in the State to complete at least four hours of continuing education per licensing biennium on topics relating to cultural diversity, cultural competence, sexual orientation, gender identity, or health equity. Requires psychologists seeking renewal of their license in the State without full compliance with the continuing education requirement to have completed at least seven hours of continuing education in the next licensing biennium on topics relating to cultural diversity, cultural competence, sexual orientation, gender identity, or health equity.

RELATING TO MENSTRUAL EQUITY.

Requires the University of Hawaiʻi to provide menstrual products free of charge to all students on any University of Hawaiʻi campus, including the community colleges. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO DIAMOND HEAD.

Requires the department of land and natural resources to identify all state and county roads, landmarks, monuments, and public parks that use the name Diamond Head and identify the process for renaming these roads, landmarks, and public parks from Diamond Head to Leahi. Requires a report to the legislature.

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII PROMISE PROGRAM.

RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH.

Establishes a five-year pilot program in the department of health to expand existing county programs that make one or more mental health professionals available to assist county first responders in responding to mental health crises in areas in the urban core with high rates of homelessness. RELATING TO WATER CONSERVATION.

Establishes a two-year water neutrality turf replacement pilot program in the county of Maui department of water supply to provide financial incentives to replace irrigated turf with turf or other plants that use less water. RELATING TO NURSES.

Requires state participation in the multistate Nurse Licensure Compact, which will allow a nurse who is licensed by a home state to practice under a multistate licensure privilege in each party state.

RELATING TO CARE FACILITY INSPECTIONS.

Requires the Department of Health to post on its website separate reports for various visits, violations, plans, and confirmations the Department performs or issues of certain care facilities. Establishes deadlines for each report type. Requires the Department of Health to log all reports in a database designed for easy public posting. Requires all facilities inspected by the Department of Health to maintain certain records and notify the Executive Office on Aging, Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, and appropriate county offices on aging of initial inspection visit dates.
