RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION.

Establishes the position of the State Fire Marshal. Authorizes the State Fire Marshal to employ seven fire enforcement officers to issue citations to and remove persons creating fire risks on state lands. Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling is exceeded. Makes an appropriation.

RELATED TO CARE HOMES.

Beginning on 7/1/2024, requires that the state supplemental payment for type 1 adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes not exceed $1,136. Beginning on 7/1/2024, requires that the state supplemental payment for type II adult residential care homes not exceed $1,334.

RELATED TO ELECTRONIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.

Requires the Office of Enterprise Technology to develop multilingual accessibility standards. Appropriates funds to establish one full-time position to develop multilingual accessibility standards within the Office of Enterprise Technology Services. RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE.

Requires the department of labor and industrial relations to establish and administer a family leave insurance program. Provides family leave insurance benefits and extends the period of family leave to 16 weeks for businesses that employ one or more employees who meet the hourly qualifications. Eliminates the previous threshold of 100 employees for employers to be subject to the family leave law. Appropriates funds.
