Prohibits the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (Fund) from withholding any retroactive reimbursement payable after June 30, 2013, to a retired employee-beneficiary and qualified employee-beneficiary's spouse for an income-adjusted Medicare Part B premium based on the time in which the adjustment request is made to the Fund. Requires the Department of Health to conduct a study regarding a pilot program to pay for Hawaii residents to attend a college of medicine in the Philippines in exchange for a commitment to practice medicine in Hawaii after graduation. (HB2465 HD1)
Authorizes any continuum of care to offer a stipend to volunteers assisting in the point-in-time count conducted annually to determine the number of homeless individuals in the State, as a condition of receiving federal homeless assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
