RELATING TO EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.

Requires the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency to amend the state emergency alert system and state emergency management plans as necessary to conform to all current federal laws and regulations that ensure the accessibility of video programming that provides emergency information. (HB2675 HD1)

RELATING TO FAMILY COURT.

Requires certain persons to immediately report a potential tort claim to the family court when that person has reason to believe that a child in foster custody has suffered an injury that may arise to a tort claim. Establishes procedures for the family court to allow a child in foster custody who has suffered an injury to seek outside legal representation for a claim of damages as a result of a tort. Allows an Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate computer science course to substitute for one math or one science course at the high school level to satisfy the University of Hawaii's freshman admission requirements.

RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.

This Act instructs DLNR to create a park maintenance campsite program which provides homeless individuals and families with legal campsites at parks in exchange for their services maintaining park grounds.
