Music Therapy; Creating the Music Therapy Advisory Committee within the Department of Health for a specified purpose; authorizing the committee to facilitate the development of certain materials and act as a facilitator of statewide dissemination of information between certain entities; requiring the department to issue a license to practice as a professional music therapist to applicants meeting specified criteria; specifying collaboration requirements for licensees engaging in the practice of music therapy, etc.

Central Service Technician Services; Defining the terms “central service technician” and “health care practitioner”; requiring that licensed hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers employ or otherwise retain the services of a central service technician only if he or she meets specified criteria; requiring central service technicians to complete a specified number of continuing education hours annually as a condition of continued employment, etc.

Medical Marijuana; Increasing the number of supply limits of marijuana which a qualified physician may issue in a single physician certification for the medical use of marijuana; revising the frequency with which qualified physicians must evaluate existing qualified patients for a physician certification for the medical use of marijuana; providing that the fee associated with identification cards for certain veterans of the United States Armed Forces may not exceed a specified amount, etc.

Acupuncture; Revising licensure requirements for acupuncturists; eliminating certain examination fees; revising requirements for continuing education programs for acupuncturists, etc.

Promoting Stability and Democratic Values in the Western Hemisphere; Recognizing the importance of the United States’ actions against narco-terrorism, affirming the national security significance of holding Nicolás Maduro accountable, supporting democratic transition in Venezuela, and expressing solidarity with the Venezuelan people, etc.

Clerks of the Court; Authorizing the cumulative excess of funds to be used in the development of the total combined budgets of the clerks of the court; requiring that a court use certain sale procedures in a foreclosure action; providing that only a clerk of court may conduct a foreclosure sale, etc.

Cybersecurity Internships; Requiring the Department of Commerce to create the Cybersecurity Experiential Learning Program in a specified fiscal year, subject to legislative appropriation; requiring the department use a certain percentage of appropriated funds in a specified fiscal year to enter into an agreement with Cyber Florida at the University of South Florida to collaborate in designing the program for implementation and plan for expansion of the program; requiring Cyber Florida to report specified information to the department; providing the department with authorized uses of unspent funds, etc.

Health Care Coverage; Establishing the Joint Legislative Committee on Medicaid Oversight for specified purposes; revising encounter data reporting requirements for prepaid Medicaid plans; requiring managed care plans to report to the agency and the Office of Insurance Regulation the existence of and specified details relating to certain affiliations by a specified date and annually thereafter; revising requirements for contracts between a pharmacy benefit manager and a participating pharmacy; revising and specifying additional practices pharmacy benefit managers are prohibited from engaging in, etc.

Education and Workforce Development for Current and Former Inmates; Authorizing the Department of Transportation to expend certain funds for all workforce development programs, rather than only construction workforce development programs; authorizing the department to use workforce development funds for certain certification and training opportunities; authorizing employers to apply to the Department of Financial Services for reimbursement of the cost of certain workers’ compensation and automobile liability premiums, subject to appropriation; providing requirements and restrictions for reimbursement, etc.

Domestic Violence and Protective Injunctions; Providing enhanced penalties for committing a domestic violence offense if a person has a prior conviction for domestic violence; authorizing, and in certain circumstances requiring, a court to order electronic monitoring in domestic violence cases; revising the information contained in a petition for injunction for protection against domestic violence; increasing the maximum payment amounts for relocation assistance for victims of domestic violence, etc.
