Reporting Lost or Stolen Firearms; Requires individuals to report lost or stolen firearms to local law enforcement agency in jurisdiction in which loss or theft occurred within specified timeframe; requires such individuals to provide specified information to local law enforcement agency; requires local law enforcement agency to create incident report upon receiving report of lost or stolen firearm; requires individual who reported firearm lost or stolen to notify local law enforcement agency to which loss or theft was reported within specified timeframe if firearm is subsequently recovered.

Community Rehabilitation Programs

Community Rehabilitation Programs; Provides minimum standards community rehabilitation program must meet to qualify to enter into cooperative agreements with Division of Blind Services to provide certain services; authorizes director of division to temporarily waive certain requirements for certain purposes; provides that community rehabilitation programs that meet specified requirements are considered priority service providers for program funding; authorizes division to enter into cooperative agreements with noncommunity rehabilitation program private vendor; provides requirements for such cooperative agreements; requires Florida Association of Agencies Serving Blind, Inc., to coordinate with division to ensure annual cooperative agreements meet certain needs.

Special Elections

Special Elections; Revises timeframe during which vacancy must be filled by candidates qualifying within timeframes provided by general law; requires Governor to call special primary election & special election under certain circumstance; requires Governor to fix dates of special election after vacancy occurs; requires Governor to consult with Secretary of State & supervisor of elections before setting special election dates; authorizes qualified electors to file petition in circuit court seeking judicial determination of election date under specified conditions; provides that court has authority to fix & declare dates for special election; removes authority of Governor, President of Senate, & Speaker of House of Representatives to waive specified timeframes if all parties concur; requires Governor to fix dates to coincide with already scheduled election; requires that special elections to fill certain vacancies be held no later than election for which resigning officer seeks to qualify; provides that certain persons are deemed elected; requires Governor to consult with certain supervisors of election, in addition to Secretary of State, before declaring date of special election; requires that such order be issued within specified timeframe after occurrence of vacancy.

Homeowner's Insurance Premium Reductions; Requires premium reductions to be applied to homeowners who maintain certain claim-free periods; provides requirements for such premium reductions; provides that homeowners who file major storm claims remain eligible for premium reductions; requires OIR to determine premium reduction schedules for such homeowners; prohibits homeowners' insurers from treating major storm claims as certain other claims; requires homeowners' premium reductions for mitigation upgrades.
