Career-themed Courses; Revises requirements for specified school district strategic plan to include certain information; requires DOE to include specified data in annual review of K-12 & postsecondary career & technical education offerings; & requires school districts to inform students & parents of specified information during middle school course selection

Registrations and Transfers of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning System Manufacturer Warranties; Requires manufacturer warranty for HVAC system to run with property; provides that warrantor continues to be obligated under terms of manufacturer warranty agreement for warranty transferred to new owner & may not charge transfer fee; provides that transfer of warranty to new owner does not extend warranty; provides warranty is deemed registered if contractor meets certain requirements.

Florida Kidcare Program Eligibility; Increases income eligibility threshold for coverage under Medikids program component; increases income eligibility threshold for coverage under Florida Kidcare program; requires applicant seeking coverage under program to provide certain documentation if eligibility cannot be verified using reliable data sources; requires that premiums for certain enrollees under Florida Kidcare program be based on tiered system of uniform premiums.

Children's Initiative Projects; Revises objectives for specified working groups within Florida Children's Initiatives; provides that initiatives are administratively housed in DCF; exempts initiatives from control, supervision, or direction by DCF or any state department; requires initiatives to be managed by not-for-profit corporations.

Education and Training For Alzheimer's Disease and Related Forms of Dementia; Requires DEA to offer education about Alzheimer's disease & related forms of dementia to general public; requires employees of covered providers, health agency or nurse registry or companion or homemaker service provider, or nursing home, assisted living facility, adult family-care home, or adult day care center to complete specified training; authorizes completed training hours to count toward preservice orientation, other required training, or continuing education hours.

Operation and Administration of the Baker Act; Requires DCF to provide specified information to certain individuals & organizations; requires DCF to maintain information handbook & repository of answers to frequently asked questions; provides requirements for such handbook & repository.

Driver License, Identification Card, and Motor Vehicle Registration; Revising the parties that may receive confidential crash reports to include law enforcement agencies and their contracted service providers; requires that motor vehicle registration form and registration renewal form and driver license or ID card application form, respectively, include option to make voluntary contribution to Best Buddies International; defining the terms "control" and "motor vehicle dealer's leasing or rental affiliate", etc.

Interstate Education Compacts; Creates Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact for the purpose of authorizing teachers licensed in one member state to become licensed in another member state; provides requirements for such compact; & revises cross-references in Interstate compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children.

Benefits, Training, and Employment for Veterans and Their Spouses; Requires analysis of VETS Program; revises duties of DVA & Florida Is For Veterans, Inc., to include assistance to veterans' spouses; revises purpose & duties of VETS Program to include assistance to veterans' spouses; requires Florida Is For Veterans, Inc., to assist veterans or their spouses in accessing employment & licensure in health care professions; requires DOH to waive certain fees for veterans & their spouses; requires appropriate board or DOH to expedite health care licensure applications submitted by veterans; establishes Office of Veteran Licensure Services; provides appropriations & authorizes positions.
