Children and Young Adults in Out-of-home Care; Specifies rights of children & young adults in out-of-home care; provides roles & responsibilities of DCF & community-based care lead agencies; authorizes district school boards to establish certain educational programs; designates children's ombudsman within DCF & provides responsibilities of ombudsman; requires DCF & community-based care lead agencies to use information provided by ombudsman in carrying out responsibilities; requires DCF to establish statewide toll-free telephone number for ombudsman.

Taxes and Fees/Legalization of Recreational Marijuana; Specifies fees under ch. 566, F.S., for various applications, renewals, & other purposes; provides that DBPR may revise fees after specified date; provides for certain mandatory contributions for obtaining early approval adult use dispensing organization licenses; levys tax on cultivation of cannabis; specifies amount of tax; provides for collection, payment, & administration of tax; levys tax on cannabis purchases; provides exceptions; provides for collection, payment, & administration of tax; requires recordkeeping; prohibits specified offenses concerning tax.

Required Instruction in the History of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders; Requires history of Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders to be included in specified instruction.

Second Chance Program - 13th Judicial Circuit; Provides an appropriation for the Second Chance Program - 13th Judicial Circuit. APPROPRIATION: $346,735

Menstrual Hygiene Products in Public Schools; Defines "menstrual hygiene products"; requires school districts to make menstrual hygiene products available, at no charge, in each school nurse's office or other physical school facility for health services.

School Absence Due to Sickness or Injury; Authorizes district school boards to determine licensed professionals that may attest to sickness or injury for certain exemption to attendance policy.

Sulphur Springs Safe Routes to School Improvements; Provides an appropriation for the Sulphur Springs Safe Routes to School Improvements. APPROPRIATION: $275,000

School Discipline Report Cards; Requires Office of Safe Schools, beginning with certain school year, to develop & publish on its website school discipline report cards based on data collected through school environmental safety incident reports; & specifies requirements for reports.

Live The Dream Scholarships; Provides an appropriation for the Live The Dream Scholarships. APPROPRIATION: $500,000

Medicaid Buy-in Program; Requires AHCA to establish & implement Medicaid buy-in program for certain individuals with disabilities; provides requirements for program; requires agency to seek federal waiver approval or submit any state plan amendments necessary to implement program by specified date; requires agency to implement program upon receiving federal approval.
