Reciprocity or Endorsement of Licensure; Provides requirements for applicable board or DBPR relating to licensure by reciprocity & by endorsement; requires respective boards of occupations or DBPR to allow licensure by endorsement if applicant meets certain criteria; requires applicable health care regulatory boards or DOH to issue license or certificate to applicants who meet specified conditions; revises licensure by endorsement requirements for practice of acupuncture, medicine, professional or practical nursing, certified nursing assistants, pharmacy, midwifery, speech-language pathology & audiology, nursing home administration, dietetics & nutrition, electrology, massage therapy, opticianry, physical therapy, physical therapist assistantship, psychology & school psychology, & clinical social work, marriage & family therapy, & mental health counseling.
Online Protections for Minors; Requiring certain social media platforms to prohibit certain minors from creating new accounts and to verify the age of account holders; specifying the age verification methods the social media platform is required and authorized to offer; requiring certain social media platforms to terminate certain accounts and provide additional options for termination of such accounts; authorizing the Department of Legal Affairs to bring actions for knowing or reckless violations under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act; providing penalties, etc.
Security Grants; Expands Nonprofit Security Grant Program to include additional organizations; specifies that grants may be used for certain materials; revises criteria to be awarded grant; requires DEM to provide information to Legislature annually by specified date; provides appropriations. Pub.Rec./Persons with Disabilities Registry; Exempts from public records requirements all records & personal identifying information relating to enrollment of persons in special persons registry & persons enrolled in special persons registry held by local law enforcement agency; authorizes local law enforcement agencies to disclose confidential & exempt information to certain persons under certain circumstances; provides for exempt status of such information held by those individuals & entities to be maintained.
