Statewide Drinking Water Standards; Revises policy of state regarding safe drinking water; requires DEP to adopt & implement rules for statewide maximum contaminant level for 1,4-dioxane; requires department to provide public water systems financial assistance necessary to update system infrastructure to meet certain standards; requires department to establish by rule criteria for public water system to receive such financial assistance.
Research Animals; Requires research facilities to offer certain dogs & cats for adoption to societies or associations before euthanizing such dogs & cats; authorizes facilities to enter into collaborative agreements; provides immunity from liability for research facilities acting in good faith; requires certain publicly funded institutions report concerning animal testing activities; provides requirements for report.
Public Health Mandates and Policies; Prohibits DOH from requiring enrollment in state's immunization registry or otherwise requiring persons to submit to immunizations or immunization tracking; prohibits government entity or educational entity from adopting, implementing, or enforcing specified international public health policies or guidelines unless specifically approved by the Legislature; prohibits the department from requiring, as a school-entry requirement, that children receive immunizations approved only for emergency use unless specifically approved by the Legislature.
Transparency for Autism-related Services; Provides definition for term "manifests" or "onset"; requires APD to provide specified information when notifying applicant of his or her eligibility determination.
Pub. Rec./Database for Patient-directed Doctor's Order Forms; Creates exemption from public records requirements for personal identifying information held in database for Patient-directed Doctor's Order forms; authorizes disclosure of such information to certain entities & individuals under specified conditions; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemption.
Patient-directed Doctor's Orders; Establishes PDDO Program within DOH; authorizes EMTs & certain health care professionals to withhold or withdraw cardiopulmonary resuscitation or other medical interventions if presented with PDDO form that contains order not to resuscitate; provides specified health care providers & legal representatives with limited immunity.
Educational Services in Department of Juvenile Justice Programs; Requires school districts to annually provide certain students in juvenile justice program with at least one opportunity to take high school equivalency examination at no cost to student.
Competition for the Sale of Event Tickets; Prohibits live performance venues from entering into specified contracts for sale of tickets or requiring artists to distribute tickets through specific ticket platforms; specifies artists must be allowed to distribute tickets through use of ticket platforms of performance artists' choice; prohibits live performance venue from selling or transferring tickets at more than face value.
Access to High School Sports; Removes specified limitation relating to participation of certain private school students in FHSAA programs.
