This measure would proclaim the month of January 2018 as Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and would encourage certain activities to honor that month, as specified.

Existing law generally regulates classes of insurance, including workers' compensation and liability insurance. Existing law requires an insurer transacting workers' compensation or liability and common carrier liability insurance to include specified schedules in its annual statement in a form prescribed by the Insurance Commissioner.
