This measure would proclaim April 29, 2019, as California Holocaust Memorial Day and would urge all Californians to observe this day of remembrance for the victims of the Holocaust in an appropriate manner.
This measure would acknowledge April 2019 as Child Abuse Prevention Month and encourage Californians to work together to support youth-serving child abuse prevention activities in their communities and schools.
This measure would proclaim April 2019 as Distracted Driving Awareness Month in California and call for awareness of the distracted driving problem and support for programs and policies to reduce the incidence of distracted driving.
The Financial Information System for California Act establishes the FISCal system, a single integrated financial management system for the state. The act establishes the Department of FISCal and the FISCal Project Office to exist concurrently during the phased implementation of the system and requires the department, upon full implementation and final acceptance of the system, to supersede the office and perform all administration, maintenance, and operation of the system. Existing law requires the office to annually report, until the completion of the system, as specified, an update on the project to the Legislature. This bill would expand the reporting requirements of the office to include specified information on state departments and agencies using FISCal, user service requests, unplanned outages, and the office's vacancy rates.
This measure would proclaim April 8, 2019, as Special Olympics Day in California.
This measure would designate the month of April 2019 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and would recognize April 24, 2019, as Denim Day in California.
This measure would recognize April 2019 as California Community College Month.
This measure would declare the month of April 2019 as the Month of the Military Child, and would urge all Californians, local and state leaders, private organizations, and businesses to observe the month by showing appreciation to the children and youth of military and veteran families, including children of the fallen, for standing by their parents and loved ones who are serving or have served as members of the Armed Forces of the United States.
This measure would designate April 2019 as Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month.
