Special license plates; former members of theVirginia General Assembly. Authorizes the issuance of speciallicense plates for former members of the Virginia General Assembly bearing the legend FORMER VIRGINIA STATE LEGISLATOR.
Solar projects and energy storage projects;siting agreements with host localities. Permits a host localityin which an applicant is seeking to install a solar project or energystorage project to establish certain requirements in the siting agreementto restrict the visibility of the solar project or energy storageproject from public secondary roads in order to maintain the viewof the surrounding community.
Special license plates; United States Air Force. Authorizes the issuance of special license plates with a designthat incorporates the emblem of the United States Air Force to activemembers and certain veterans of the United States Air Force. Thebill provides that unremarried surviving spouses of such servicemembers may also be issued such special license plates.
Powers and duties of Governor; limitation onduration of executive orders. Limits the duration of any executive rule, regulation, or order issued by the Governor to the completionof the Governor's term in office. Under current law, once issued,such executive orders are effective until June 30 following the nextadjournment of the regular session of the General Assembly. The billcontains technical amendments.
Minimum wage. Repeals certain provisionsof the Code of Virginia related to increasing the state minimum wageto more than $11.00 per hour. The bill also repeals provisions relatedto increasing the state minimum wage based on an annual adjusted minimum wage determined by the Department of Labor and Industry.
Motor vehicle sales and use tax; definitionof sale price. Excludes from the sale price for determining motorvehicle sales and use tax the amount of any credit given by the sellerfor any motor vehicle taken as a trade-in.
