SB 2054: Criminal Offenses - As introduced, creates a criminal offense for an owner of a dangerous dog to not have a valid policy of insurance insuring the owner against liability for injuries inflicted by the dog; authorizes a law enforcement officer to, without a warrant, request a person to provide proof of the insurance requirement or be subject to arrest. - Amends TCA Title 38; Title 39; Title 40; Title 44 and Title 56.

HB 1703: Vital Records - As introduced, requires a certificate of birth for each live birth that occurs in this state to include a separate box for the institution, physician, or healthcare provider that prepares the certificate to write in the mother and father's social security number or taxpayer identification number (TIN); provides that if no social security number or TIN is provided, then the institution, physician, or healthcare provider must write in the box "Not provided". - Amends TCA Title 36; Title 63 and Title 68.
