Prohibits discrimination in postsecondary education of students, faculty and staff based upon medical or religious vaccine exemptions.
Requires that whenever a person is charged with possession of a firearm with alteration of identification marks, the alteration would create a rebuttable presumption that the person is a danger to the safety of the community.
Limits the governor to one thirty (30) day renewal of a declaration of emergency without a joint resolution of the general assembly.
Prohibits eliminating religious exemption regarding mandatory health injections or inoculations and an unlawful employment practice.
Enables parents to review public school learning materials/object if the parent decides that the material is harmful. Also a parent may withdraw their student from the activity or class where the material is used and request an alternative assignment.
Allows for a public school/group of public schools to implement an innovation plan through the local school board, approved by the state board and subject to review by the local school board as well as the department of elementary and secondary education.
Requires general treasurer upon request from RIDE to establish education savings account to assist remote-learning students with educational support exempt from state income tax.
Increases the net taxable estate exemption to three million six hundred thousand dollars ($3,600,000) on January 1, 2025. Also increases the exemption by one million dollars ($1,000,000) on January 1 per year thereafter.
