Protecting Against Compromised Internet of Things Technology Act This bill requires the Bureau of Industry and Security within the Department of Commerce to identify foreign persons that pose a threat to supply chain security for Internet of Things devices (i.e., any object or device that is connected to the internet and is not a laptop, cell phone, or other conventional technology device) for inclusion on the Entity List. This list identifies entities reasonably believed to be involved in, or to pose a significant risk of being or becoming involved in, activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States. The bureau must periodically submit a list of any foreign persons identified as threats to Internet of Things device supply chains to the interagency committee that makes decisions regarding additions to, removals from, or other modifications to the Entity List. After receiving the bureau's list, the committee must vote on whether to add such foreign persons to the Entity List. A company added to the Entity List through this process may not receive any federal financial assistance, and the federal government may not contract with such a company for Internet of Things devices.

This bill withdraws 3,055 acres of specified land in San Bernardino National Forest in California from (1) entry, appropriation, and disposal under the public land laws; (2) location, entry, and patent under the mining laws; and (3) operation of the mineral leasing, mineral materials, and geothermal leasing laws.

This bill designates the medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in San Diego, California, as the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The bill also expresses the sense of Congress that the VA should designate a prominent physical space within the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center to honor Kathleen Mae Bruyere.

This resolution condemns the terrorist attack on Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, on January 15, 2022. It also expresses support for the affected community, commends the actions of law enforcement and emergency responders, and reaffirms a commitment to combat hate, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and violence against Jewish Americans.

Powering America through Domestic Energy Act or the PADE Act This bill requires the President to prohibit the importation of crude oil and petroleum products from Russia. In addition, the bill requires the President to obtain congressional approval before (1) declaring a moratorium on the use of hydraulic fracturing, or (2) withdrawing federal land from oil and gas leasing under mineral leasing laws.

American Energy Independence from Russia Act This bill addresses U.S. energy security, the production of oil and gas, and the importation and exportation of oil and gas. Specifically, the President must submit an energy security plan that (1) evaluates U.S. crude oil, petroleum products, and natural gas imports and exports; (2) assesses the energy security risks of such imports; and (3) includes strategies to encourage increased domestic production of crude oil, petroleum products, and natural gas to offset Russian imports. The bill also approves the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline in Phillips County, Montana for the import of oil from Canada to the United States. In addition, the bill grants the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission the authority to approve or deny applications for facilities to export natural gas from the United States to foreign countries or import natural gas from foreign countries. The President and federal agencies must obtain congressional approval before (1) prohibiting or substantially delaying certain new energy mineral leases or permits on federal lands, or (2) withdrawing certain federal lands from mineral and geothermal leasing activities. The Department of the Interior must resume issuing oil and gas leases on federal lands and offshore submerged lands in the Outer Continental Shelf as specified under the bill. Finally, the bill limits the drawdown of petroleum in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve until the Department of Energy develops a plan to increase the percentage of federal lands leased for oil and gas production.

This bill provides that no tax information return for winnings from one slot machine play shall be required unless the winnings are at least $5,000 (without reduction for the amount wagered). This threshold amount is adjusted for inflation for calendar years beginning after 2023.

This joint resolution nullifies the rule titled Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination , which was issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on November 5, 2021. The rule requires health care providers, as a condition of Medicare and Medicaid participation, to ensure that staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

This resolution addresses the need for improvements to broadband infrastructure, particularly in rural areas, and the role of specified federal agencies in making such improvements.

Workforce Opportunity for Returning Citizens Act or the WORC Act This bill requires the Department of Labor to award grants to local workforce development boards, colleges, area career and technical education schools, or other entities to develop or expand education or workforce training programs that (1) lead to employment opportunities for incarcerated and previously incarcerated (i.e., incarcerated at any time during the preceding 36-month period) individuals; and (2) reduce recidivism.
