Healthcare (Seniors)

HB 906 creates the Healthy Aging Task Force to study how an aging population affects Ohio's health, economy, and infrastructure. The group will include elected officials, state agency directors, and representatives from diverse backgrounds such as caregivers, older adults, businesses, and rural communities. This unpaid panel will gather expert opinions and public input to develop recommendations for improving healthy aging outcomes across five key areas, including disease prevention, housing, and long-term care. The task force must submit its final report to state leaders by September of the current year before it dissolves.
