To amend section 3727.08; to amend, for the purpose of adopting a new section number as indicated in parentheses, section 3727.08 (3722.15); and to enact sections 3701.0413, 3702.20, and 5119.335 of the Revised Code to require the Director of Health, hospitals, and urgent care facilities to create domestic violence protocols for certain health care professionals and to name this act the Break the Silence Act.

To amend section 2909.07 and to enact sections 1923.16 and 2913.53 of the Revised Code to provide for the expedited removal of unauthorized occupants of residential property, to prohibit the use and sale of fraudulent deeds, and to declare an emergency.

To amend Section 381.10 of H.B. 96 of the 136th General Assembly to increase appropriations for the Campus Student Safety Grant Program for the biennium ending June 30, 2027.

HB 100 creates a temporary grant program for nonprofit retailers (501(c)(3) organizations) that sell donated physical goods. To qualify, retailers must provide job training and employment services for people facing employment barriers like disabilities, homelessness, or criminal history. Eligible retailers can receive grants covering up to 25% of state sales tax revenue from donated goods sales, capped at $1 million per retailer annually. Grants must be used exclusively for job training programs serving disadvantaged workers, with annual reporting to the state.

To amend sections 131.02, 715.013, 928.01, 928.03, 4506.01, 5502.01, 5502.13, 5502.14, 5703.052, 5703.053, 5703.19, 5703.263, 5703.50, 5703.70, and 5703.77 and to enact sections 3779.01, 3779.02, 3779.03, 3779.04, 3779.05, 3779.06, 3779.21, 3779.22, 3779.23, 3779.24, 3779.25, 3779.26, 3779.27, 3779.28, 3779.29, 3779.40, 3779.41, 3779.42, 3779.43, 3779.431, 3779.44, 3779.45, 3779.451, 3779.46, 3779.47, 3779.48, and 3779.99 of the Revised Code to generally prohibit the sale of intoxicating hemp products, except for sales at licensed dispensaries; to regulate drinkable cannabinoid products, and to levy taxes on drinkable cannabinoid products and other intoxicating hemp products that may be sold.

To amend sections 3314.03, 3326.11, 3328.24, and 4112.01 and to enact section 3313.6612 of the Revised Code to enact the Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair (CROWN) Act to prohibit discrimination against an individual based on hair texture and protective hair styles.

This Ohio Senate resolution (SR 29) urges Congress to resume restoring SNAP benefits stolen through card skimming and to fund anti-fraud measures. It specifically requests Congress extend federal funding to replace benefits stolen via fraudulent devices on EBT cards (which lack security chips) and upgrade EBT cards to include security chips. The resolution cites Ohio’s successful replacement of over $12.6 million in stolen benefits using prior federal funding. As a non-binding resolution, it does not create new law but formally requests federal action to address ongoing fraud.

To urge the U.S. Congress to support the provision of prompt and comprehensive mental health treatment to military personnel and veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other service-related stress disorders.

To amend sections 4503.03, 4510.036, 4511.75, 4511.751, and 4511.76 and to enact sections 5.501, 3327.18, and 3327.19 of the Revised Code to address school bus safety, to designate this act as the School Bus Safety Act, and to make an appropriation.
