Veterans (Veteran Mental Health)

This bill directs the state director of health to create and distribute a poster that provides information about various veterans' medical benefits and support services. The poster must include details on programs such as the Military Injury Relief Fund, the VA crisis line, caregiver support, and other health-related resources available to veterans. Health care providers are authorized to display this poster in visible areas of their facilities, and the state will supply copies at no cost to those who request them. The legislation aims to ensure veterans and their health care providers have easy access to information about available benefits and services.

To urge the President of the United States, the United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and the United States Congress to take prompt action to reduce the processing time for veterans' disability benefit claims.

To amend section 1546.04 of the Revised Code to require the ODNR Chief of the Division of Parks and Watercraft to establish a discount program for veterans and service members for park services and rentals.

To urge the U.S. Congress to support the provision of prompt and comprehensive mental health treatment to military personnel and veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other service-related stress disorders.
