Provides that persons employed by the Monroe county sheriff's office serving as court security deputies at Monroe court facilities be designated as peace officers.

Provides that persons arrested for domestic violence forfeit bail when violating an order of protection.

Expands the offense of assault in the second degree to include the infliction of physical injury to employees of domestic violence shelters and persons seeking shelter in such shelters.
Elevates the offense of killing a police work dog or police work horse from being a class E felony to a class D felony; and establishes the class E felony of injuring a police work dog or police work horse for intentionally causing serious physical injury to a police work dog or police work horse while such dog or horse is performing its duties under the supervision of a police officer.
