Relates to notice of eligibility for unemployment benefits; requires an employer to provide a written notice of the right to file for unemployment benefits to any employee whose employment has been terminated or whose scheduled working hours have been reduced.

Directs the creation of a document giving certain notice to parents and guardians of school age students who are diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition or a certain medical condition

Enacts the "Shepherd Patterson law"; requires a physician who treats a minor patient with a medical condition that may cause a disability to provide certain educational information to such patient's parents or guardians indicating such minor is entitled to a free and appropriate public education as defined under section five hundred four of the federal rehabilitation act of nineteen hundred seventy-three; makes related provisions.

Enacts the crash victims bill of rights

Enacts the "crash victims bill of rights"; requires accident reports to be delivered to victims of accidents or their next of kin; requires victim impact statements to be delivered at traffic infraction hearings by injured parties or their next of kin; requires employers to grant leave of absence to employees delivering a victim impact statement at a traffic infraction hearing; directs the superintendent of financial services to conduct a study and complete a report on certain automobile crash information.

Provides employers with the opportunity to register for emergency alerts from the state of New York public safety alert mass notification system

Relates to requiring the department of labor to provide employers with an opportunity to register for the office of information technology services alert system to facilitate the timely distribution of information from the state concerning critical information about emergency incidents or occurrences which pose a potential imminent threat to the health or safety of the employees of such employers.
