Creates a private right of action for unlawful price gouging for injunctive relief and recovery of compensatory damages or $1000 whichever is greater

Creates a private right of action for unlawful price gouging for injunctive relief and recovery of compensatory damages or $1000, whichever is greater, or both, in addition to right of action granted to attorney general; permits the court to award a prevailing plaintiff an additional penalty of up to $5,000 for a willful or knowing violation and reasonable attorney's fees.

Relates to prohibiting the possession of certain 50 caliber firearms

Relates to prohibiting the possession of certain 50 caliber firearms; directs the division of state police to embark on a program whereby persons currently in lawful possession of such weapons may be reimbursed for the fair market value thereof upon turning in such weapons to a designated officer.

Establishes the COVID-19 emergency homeownership stability program

Authorizes the commissioner of New York homes and community renewal, as soon as practicable and subject to the disbursement of federal funds expressly for this purpose to the housing finance agency, to implement an emergency COVID-19 homeownership stability program and issue an emergency homeownership payment directly to the eligible homeowner; makes related provisions.

Enacts the "corporate political activity accountability to shareholders act"; requires that corporate contributions to a political candidate or party committee or in support or opposition to a candidate or ballot referendum be approved by a majority of shareholders; applies to cooperative corporations, not-for-profit corporations, railroad and transportation corporations.
