Relates to certain lung disabilities incurred by members of the New York city transit authority in certain cases

Relates to certain lung disabilities incurred by members of the New York city transit authority in certain cases; provides that any lung condition resulting in partial disability or death to a member of the New York city transit authority, or its subsidiary corporation, where such member successfully passed a physical examination on entry into such service or subsequent thereto, which exam failed to reveal evidence of such condition, shall be presumed to have been incurred in the performance and discharge of duty.

Relates to provision of interpreters at poll sites in certain cities

Requires the board of elections in cities with a population of one million or more to provide at least one interpreter for all languages that are designated city-wide languages at poll sites that contain an election district with at least fifty voting age residents whose limited English proficiency language is a designated city-wide language.

Establishes a culturally responsive education curriculum and standards; requires all school districts, charter schools and private schools to integrate culturally responsive education throughout the education of all students at all grade levels; establishes a pilot program in culturally responsive education; appropriates $25,000,000 therefor.
