Establishes a workplace sexual harassment, harassment, and discrimination hotline which shall be created by the division of human rights in cooperation with the department of labor.
Establishes an attorney pro bono representation for sexual harassment, harassment, or discrimination tax deduction.
Requires local solid waste management plans for cities over one million to include a plan for litter control including provision for placement of an adequate number of receptacles for trash and recyclables in commercial and business zones and in public recreational areas.
Establishes a fund for the creation of affordable housing for veterans and seniors.
Requires a purchaser of any firearm, rifle or shotgun to submit to a mental health evaluation and provide the seller with his or her approval to purchase such firearm.
Requires the division of veterans' services to provide the division's copy of the veteran's DD-214 form to the appropriate county veterans' service agency upon the release of veterans from service.
Requires children under the age of eighteen to wear protective headgear while skiing or snowboarding; imposes civil fines for violations thereof; applies safety in skiing code requirements to snowboarders and snowboarding.
Exempts breast pump replacement parts and certain supplies from sales and compensating use taxes.
Provides that every motor carrier shall furnish the department of motor vehicles a list of each altered motor vehicle commonly referred to as a "stretch limousine" designed to carry 10 or more passengers; requires the commissioner of motor vehicles to annually review the bus driver files of each driver employed by a motor vehicle carrier who operates such stretch limousine; makes related provisions.
Provides that altered motor vehicles commonly referred to as "stretch limousines" which were altered on or after January 1, 2021, shall have at least two safety belts for the front seat and at least one safety belt for the rear seat for each passenger for which the rear seat of such vehicle was designed.
