Protects the right of privacy of victims of sex offenses or offenses involving the transmission of the HIV virus, who are under the age of 18; provides that the gender and address of victims under the age of eighteen be kept confidential.
Authorizes a pharmacist to substitute a brand name prescription drug for the generic equivalent of such drug if requested to do so by the patient and record the request.
Prohibits health insurers from requiring that the insured purchase prescribed drugs from a mail order pharmacy or pay a co-payment fee when such purchases are not made from a mail order pharmacy if a similar fee is not charged for drugs from a mail order pharmacy.
Provides that any person who voluntarily and without compensation renders certain volunteer service in sports programs of non-profit-making organizations shall be immune from liability for civil damages for acts or omissions in rendering such service unless the act or omission constituted gross negligence or wilfull misconduct on the part of any such person.
Prohibits a court from granting custody of a minor to anyone who has been convicted of any of the enumerated sex crimes except where court finds there is no significant risk to the child.
