Authorizes the commissioner of health to adjust medical assistance rates of payment for certified home health agencies, managed long term care plans, hospices, long term home health care programs, licensed home care services agencies and other entities for recruitment, training and retention of direct care workers for services in shortage areas and by shortage disciplines.
This bill requires pharmacies dispensing over 200 prescriptions in any 14-hour period to have at least two licensed pharmacists on staff during that time. It mandates pharmacies to maintain daily logs showing hourly prescription counts and pharmacist coverage for audit purposes. The bill also prohibits employers from terminating pharmacists who refuse unsafe prescription quotas that endanger patient safety, and bans policies interfering with pharmacists' professional judgment on ethics or drug distribution. The law takes effect 30 days after enactment.

Provides per diem rates of payment by governmental agencies for inpatient services provided by facilities designated by the federal department of health and human services as exempt extended neoplastic disease care hospitals.
This bill prevents state departments from restricting the number of people with serious mental illness living in qualifying adult homes. It applies only to adult homes that meet four specific requirements: being nonprofit, operating a full continuum of housing services, regularly assessing residents' needs, and providing targeted mental health supports like independent living skills training and community integration. The bill defines "serious mental illness" using DSM-IV-TR criteria for severe, long-term conditions causing substantial functional disability. It takes effect immediately upon enactment and was referred to the Health committee on March 24, 2025.
Prohibits publicly traded pharmacies with twenty or more stores in this state from establishing or enforcing quotas for duties performed by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, including evaluating or measuring the number of prescriptions filled, services rendered, programs offered and revenue obtained.
