Establishes the crimes of criminal electronic impersonation and aggravated criminal electronic impersonation; requires certain voice-over internet, call-routing and electronic communication services to preserve certain call routing and originating connection records and to provide such records to law enforcement upon request.

This bill creates a temporary commission to study music and performing arts education programs in New York state correctional facilities. This bill authorizes the city of Ithaca to implement a demonstration program using speed cameras in school zones to enforce speed limits and hold vehicle owners financially responsible for violations. The program would allow the city to install photo monitoring systems in up to twelve school zones, with strict rules requiring annual calibration, operator training, and advance public signage. Images captured by the cameras would generally not identify drivers or passengers and would be destroyed after legal cases are resolved, with limited exceptions for law enforcement investigations. The authorization for this demonstration program would expire on December 31, 2030.
Provides that in any civil, criminal or family court proceeding, where evidence is offered and a party contends that such evidence has been fabricated by means of generative artificial intelligence, the court shall not, on that ground alone, conduct an inquiry into such alleged fabrication unless the party so contending makes a showing sufficient to support a reasonable inference that the evidence may not be authentic.
