Bassam Barabandi Rewards for Justice Act This bill expands the Department of State's rewards program to allow rewards for providing information that leads to the identification or location of an entity or individual that knowingly violates U.S. or United Nations sanctions.
RETURN (Repealing Excise Tax on Unalienable Rights Now) our Constitutional Rights Act of 2022 or the RETURN our Constitutional Rights Act of 2022 This bill repeals the excise taxes on firearms and ammunition and on bows and arrows. It also repeals the excise tax on transferring and making firearms under the National Firearm Act.
This concurrent resolution expresses the sense of Congress that (1) it opposes the establishment of a new U.S. consulate in Jerusalem for outreach to Palestinians, (2) any establishment of a new consulate or diplomatic mission in Jerusalem should not move forward without congressional approval through the passage of new legislation, and (3) the presence of a U.S. diplomatic mission devoted to a non-state actor in Israel's sovereign capital would be an affront to the territorial integrity of a long-standing U.S. partner and ally.
Fueling American Prosperity Act This bill requires the Department of the Interior to carry out sales of onshore and offshore oil and gas leases. If the sales are not carried out, the bill limits Interior from hiring, transferring, or reassigning duties among officers and employees. In addition, the bill (1) requires Interior to finalize its next offshore oil and gas leasing program by June 30, 2022; and (2) sets deadlines by which certain environmental assessments and environmental impact statements must be completed if the national average price of gasoline exceeds a specified threshold.
DPA Reform Act of 2022 This bill modifies the Defense Production Act of 1950, including by requiring that there must be a declaration of war to exercise authority under the act.
This resolution sets forth the rule for consideration of H.R. 1011 (Life at Conception Act), which declares that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization, cloning, or other moment at which an individual comes into being.
Unleash American Drilling Act This bill requires the Department of Interior to issue decisions on applications for drilling permits associated with certain oil and gas leases within specified timeframes. If a decision is not made within the timeframe, the permit shall be considered issued.
No Electric Ferries Act This bill prohibits the Department of Transportation from providing passenger ferry grants for zero-emission or electric ferry projects.
No Desire for Streetcars Act This bill prohibits funds from certain programs to be used for the procurement, operation, or maintenance of a streetcar, including the surface transportation block grant program and fixed guideway capital investment grant program.
No Taxpayer Funding For Climate Zealots Advancing Radical Schemes Act or the No Taxpayer Funding For CZARS Act This bill prohibits the use of federal funds for any activity of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.
