A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION to allow the House of Representatives and the Senate of the 123rd Indiana General Assembly to adjourn and recess separately throughout the First Regular Session for periods in excess of three (3) consecutive days as the need, in the judgment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, respectively, may arise.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION to allow the House of Representatives and the Senate of the 122nd General Assembly to adjourn and recess separately throughout the First Special Session for periods in excess of three (3) consecutive days as the need, in the judgment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, respectively, may arise.

Defines a "charitable government services organization". Provides that a charitable government services organization and other specified individuals may accept payment by credit card for the purchase of a chance to enter a raffle or water race offered at an allowable activity if the transaction satisfies particular requirements.

Amends the deadline by which a political subdivision may opt back in to an opioid litigation settlement. Requires a political subdivision to submit a copy of the agreement executed between the political subdivision and the private legal counsel of the political subdivision when opting back into the opioid litigation settlement. Removes language providing that no political subdivision has any claim to any settlement proceeds for litigation against any opioid party not yet filed by the state as of a certain date. Removes certain requirements concerning the payment of costs, expenses, and attorney's fees and costs arising from opioid litigation. Changes the basis by which the agency settlement fund distributes funds to cities, counties, and towns. Reduces the percentage of opioid litigation settlement funds distributed for use of statewide treatment, education, and prevention programs for opioid use disorder. Provides that 35% of opioid litigation settlement funds are to be distributed to cities, counties, and towns for programs for treatment, prevention, and care that are best practices for opioid use disorder. Provides that funds received from the opioid settlement may not be distributed to a city, county, or town that has opted out of the settlement and that the remaining funds shall be distributed to the cities, counties, or towns that have opted into the settlement.

Reaffirming the commitment of sister ties between Indiana and Taiwan.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the Indiana War Memorials Commission to study and propose the construction of a suitable monument to the men and women of Indiana who died in the service of their country in the global war on terrorism.

Authorizes a town or a city other than Indianapolis to enter into a contract for the collection and disposal of solid waste through a request for proposals process instead of an invitation for bids process. Establishes a request for proposals procedure under which a town or a city other than Indianapolis may enter into a contract for the collection and disposal of solid waste.

Recognizing February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION congratulating the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for 100 years of service to the Hoosier economy, business community, and workforce.

Allows a municipality to designate a location as an outdoor refreshment area (area) with the approval of the alcohol and tobacco commission (commission). Prohibits an area from being located near a school or church unless the church or school does not object. Provides that if an area is approved, the commission designates retailer permittees (permittees) within the area. Allows a minor to be within the area.
