Repaying the Rural Borderlands Act of 2021

Repaying the Rural Borderlands Act of 2021 This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to reimburse individuals, entities, and state and local governments for damage to property caused by aliens entering the United States along the southern border. DHS must also reimburse local governments for the costs of providing care, such as housing and schooling, to such aliens.

Increasing Access to Osteoporosis Testing for Medicare Beneficiaries Act of 2021

Increasing Access to Osteoporosis Testing for Medicare Beneficiaries Act of 2021 This bill specifies that certain Medicare payment rules applicable to imaging services shall apply to dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry services used in bone mass scans beginning in 2022. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must establish national minimum payment amounts for such services.

To prohibit States that implement programs to assist illegal immigrants from receiving Federal funds, and for other purposes.

This bill prohibits any program for which federal funds are appropriated on a discretionary basis from providing federal funds to a state that has implemented a program to provide assistance to individuals who are unlawfully present in the United States.

Regional Impact of Disasters and Emergencies Relief Act

Regional Impact of Disasters and Emergencies Relief Act or the RIDER Act This bill expands eligibility for individual and public assistance to areas contiguous to an area designated as eligible to receive assistance as a result of a major disaster and includes cumulative damage from multiple natural catastrophes within the definition of major disaster.

Washington Bureaucrat Accountability Act

Washington Bureaucrat Accountability Act This bill rescinds funding that was provided to the Department of Transportation for certain unused earmarks. Under the bill, the term earmark generally refers to congressionally directed spending that would benefit a specific entity or state, locality, or congressional district other than through a statutory or administrative formula or competitive award process. The bill also requires (1) the rescinded funds to be deposited into the Treasury for the purpose of deficit reduction, and (2) federal agencies to submit certain reports regarding unobligated funds that were provided for earmarks.

RESTORE Act

Rehabilitating Economic Success Through Overcoming Rural Emergencies Act or the RESTORE Act This bill expands the Department of Agriculture's Wildfire and Hurricane Indemnity Program Plus (WHIP+) to include coverage for losses of crops due to high winds or derechos, polar vortexes (including losses to dairy cooperatives due to power outages or curtailments), hailstorms, freeze, and droughts occurring in the 2020 and 2021 calendar years, with specified limitations. Under current law, the program provides disaster payments to agricultural producers who suffered crop, tree, bush, and vine losses resulting from hurricanes, wildfires, and other qualifying natural disasters that occurred in the 2018 and 2019 calendar years.

Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act for Airports

Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act for Airports This bill makes certain airport projects eligible for funding under the transportation infrastructure finance and innovation program of the Department of Transportation (DOT), including projects for airport noise capability planning and for constructing gates and related areas at which passengers board or exit aircraft. DOT may provide funding for these projects only if all steel and manufactured goods used in the projects are produced in the United States, with specified exceptions.

Directing the Attending Physician to take timely action to provide updated mask wearing guidance applicable to the Hall of the House of Representatives and committee meeting spaces for Members and staff who are vaccinated against Covid-19, consistent with the public guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on May 13, 2021.

This resolution directs the Office of the Attending Physician to update the mask-wearing guidance (consistent with public guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) applicable to the Hall of the House of Representatives and committee meeting spaces for Members and staff who are vaccinated against COVID-19.

Prohibiting TSP Investment in China Act

Prohibiting TSP Investment in China Act This bill limits the investments of funds under the Thrift Savings Plan. Specifically, it prohibits funds, including funds that are accessible through a mutual fund window, from investing in any entity that is based in China or any subsidiary of such an entity.
