Amends the Voluntary Payroll Deductions Act of 1983. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Prohibits a Representative from serving more than 5 consecutive terms from the same Representative District. Prohibits a Senator from serving more than 3 consecutive terms from the same Legislative District. Prohibits a person who has served the maximum number of consecutive terms from serving another term in the same office from the same district until after the expiration of at least the next 2 terms. Effective upon being declared adopted, and applies to terms beginning on or after the second Wednesday in January 2017.
Amends the Illinois Conservation Foundation Act. Ends the terms of the members of the Illinois Conservation Foundation Board of Directors on the date upon which members of the new 12-member board have been appointed and can begin to take action as a Board. Establishes terms for the new members of the Illinois Conservation Foundation Board of Directors.
Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title of the Code.
Amends the Illinois Municipal Budget Law. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a municipality's noncompliance with the Act.
Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the School Code's construction.
Amends the Real Estate License Act of 2000. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that the graphic arts machinery and equipment exemption, and the corresponding Manufacturer's Purchase Credit for graphic arts machinery and equipment, sunsets on August 30, 2024 (instead of August 30, 2014). Provides that the exemption applies during the entire period from September 1, 2004 through August 30, 2024, including, but not limited to, the period beginning on August 31, 2014 and ending on the effective date of the amendatory Act. Effective immediately.
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that persons licensed to possess a concealed firearm under the Firearm Concealed Carry Act and current or retired police officers authorized by law to possess a concealed firearm shall be exempt from provisions of the Code prohibiting possession of those firearms.
