DPH-CORD STEM CELL BANKS

Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law. Subject to appropriation, directs the Department to establish a statewide network of cord blood stem cell banks. Sets forth requirements and duties of donor banks. Creates an advisory committee to advise the Department concerning administration of the network. Effective immediately.

CD CORR-PROBATION -DNR FND

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that as a condition of probation or supervision, the court may require the defendant to contribute a reasonable sum of money, not to exceed the maximum amount of the fine for which the defendant was sentenced, to the investigative cash fund established by the Department of Natural Resources for the purchase of evidence for investigation purposes and to conduct investigations of various conservation law violations.

METH-ANHYDROUS AMMONIA

Amends the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act. Provides that it is a Class 3 felony to attempt to possess, procure, transport, store, or deliver anhydrous ammonia in an unauthorized container. Effective January 1, 2008.

JUV CT-DCFS-GUARDIANSHIP

Amends the Children and Family Services Act and the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that a delinquent minor under 15 years of age (rather than under 13 years of age) may be placed in the guardianship of the Department of Children and Family Services.
