VEH CD-UNINSURED:RESTITUTION

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person commits the offense of operation of uninsured motor vehicle causing damage to property when the person: (1) operates an uninsured motor vehicle; and (2) causes, as a proximate result of the person's operation of the motor vehicle, damage to property. Provides that in addition to any other penalty provided by law, a person convicted of operation of an uninsured motor vehicle causing damage to property shall be ordered to pay restitution in an amount equal to the cost of repairing the property damage resulting from the violation.

IDOT: ROAD PROJECTS INFO

Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that prior to the commencement of a road construction project which is expected to have a completion time of 3 weeks or more of the Department of Transportation shall provide each business that will be impacted by the project with (1) notice of when road construction will begin, how long it is estimated to last, and a contact within the Department for answering questions or concerns; and (2) a downloadable document on the Department's website containing strategies for businesses to reduce the impact of the project.

HUNTING/FISHING LIC-VETERANS

Amends the Fish and Aquatic Life Code and the Wildlife Code. Provides that the fees for sport fishing licenses and for hunting licenses to hunt all species for non-residents who have been awarded a Purple Heart by a branch of the armed forces of the United States shall be the same as the fees for a resident. Provides that Purple Heart recipients must provide to the Department of Natural Resources verification of their service and receipt of a Purple Heart. Provides that the Department shall establish what constitutes suitable verification of service and receipt of a Purple Heart for the purpose of issuing non-resident Purple Heart recipients sport fishing licenses and hunting licenses at a reduced fee.

OPTOMETRISTS-HYDROCODONE

Amends the Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987. Permits a licensed optometrist to prescribe Dihydrocodeinone (Hydrocodone) with one or more active, non-narcotic ingredients only in a quantity sufficient to provide treatment for up to 72 hours, and only if such formulations are reclassified as Schedule II by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

LOCAL GOVT-RECYCLING BINS

Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a household goods recycling bin shall have a permanent, written, printed label affixed to the bin and prominently displayed. Sets forth the required information that must be contained within the label. Defines required terms. Effective immediately.
