Amends the Public University Energy Conservation Act. Provides that "energy conservation measure" includes construction of a new building or facility that is designed to reduce energy consumption or operating costs.
Creates the Pension System Modernization Task Force to recommend pension benefit changes to modernize the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois, the State Universities Retirement System, and the State Employees' Retirement System of Illinois.
Congratulates the Sandburg High School Varsity Cheerleaders of Orland Park on winning the Illinois High School Association Large Group Cheer competition.
Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning establishment of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission.
Amends the Board of Higher Education Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning reimbursement for a Board member's expenses.
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Excludes, from the definition of "commercial vehicle safety relocator", a person or entity licensed as a new vehicle dealer. Effective July 1, 2008.
Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Monetary Award Program.
Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Fire Department Promotion Act. With respect to subjective evaluation of candidates for promotion, sets up a procedure for the parties to select impartial qualified professionals as promotional assessors from a roster established by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Makes technical corrections. Effective immediately.
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning certificates of title.
