BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, AT THE FIRST SPECIAL SESSION THEREOF, THE SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the two Houses shall convene in Joint Session on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the hour of 3:30 o'clock p.m. for the purpose of hearing an address from his Excellency Governor Pat Quinn.
Adopts the rules of the 96th General Assembly as the rules of the First Special Session and provides that the House Committees of the 96th General Assembly constitute those of the First Special Session.
Informs the Senate that the House of Representatives is organized and prepared to transact the business of the First Special Session.
