Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that a person convicted of a sex offense may not visit a nursing home. Provides that a first offense is a Class A misdemeanor and a second or subsequent offense is a Class 4 felony.
Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that an attorney, as an officer of the court, may issue subpoenas on behalf of a clerk for witnesses and to counties in a pending action (instead of limiting the issuance of subpoenas to court clerks).
Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the computation of time.
Urges the convocation of a summit of the Governor, legislative leaders, and other interested parties to develop legislation to create an agreed electrical pricing policy for the State.
Amends the Property Tax Code. Requires the county clerk to abate a percentage of the property taxes levied on each parcel of property. Sets forth the amount of the exemption based upon the Judicial District in which the property is located. Effective immediately.
Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971, the Counties Code, the Illinois Municipal Code, the School Code, the Illinois Insurance Code, the Health Maintenance Organization Act, the Limited Health Service Organization Act, the Voluntary Health Services Plans Act, and the Illinois Public Aid Code to provide coverage for autism spectrum disorders to the extent that the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders are not already covered by the policy or plan. Provides that this coverage shall be subject to a maximum benefit of $36,000 per year, but shall not be subject to any limits on the number of visits to an autism service provider. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Increases the amount of the civil penalty that the Illinois Commerce Commission may impose on a rail carrier for violation of the Illinois Commercial Transportation Law.
Urges the U.S. Congress, and especially the legislative delegation to the U.S. Congress from the State of Illinois, to withdraw the U.S. from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.
Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning notices of cancellation.
