RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

Requires, in places of public accommodation, a ratio of one electric vehicle parking stall per 100 stalls by 2018 and a ratio of two electric vehicle parking stalls per 100 stalls by the year 2023. Designates the appropriate county authority having jurisdiction over planning and permitting for enforcement. Specifies procedures for enforcement.

RELATING TO HAWAII PESTICIDES LAW.

Requires disclosure of commercial agriculture pesticide use under specified conditions. Revises the ceiling and use of the Pesticide Use Revolving Fund. Appropriates funds for the John A. Burns School of Medicine to study the exposure of Chlorpyrifos on pregnant mothers. (SB804 HD1)

RELATING TO CHARTER TOUR OPERATORS.

Permits charter tour operators to maintain client trust accounts in a federally insured financial institution outside the State; provided that the charter tour operator agrees to allow the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to access the tour operator's financial records related to client trust accounts through the financial institution. RELATING TO NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS.

Requires insurers, mutual benefit societies, fraternal benefit societies, and health maintenance organizations to provide coverage for health care services provided by a naturopathic physician. Requires the insurance commissioner to receive and investigate complaints regarding discrimination with respect to participation under a health insurance plan against any health care provider. Effective 6/1/2050. (SD2)
